Welcome to Headshots with a Bird (the "Service"), a project of SCHEME Studio. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are.
You upload photos and we use AI to generate stylized professional-looking headshots. Every headshot is delivered with exactly one bird in it by default; the bird also appears on your shareable "Bird ID" card. Bird-free versions are available as follows: on the $1 package you may request the removal of the bird from ONE headshot of your choice (one removal per order, final); on the $3 package your 5 looks are each delivered twice — once with the bird and once without (10 images); on the $10 package your 15 looks are each delivered twice (30 images). The bird portion of the Service is a permanent, intentional feature of every package and cannot be removed beyond the bird-free versions described above. On the $1 and $3 packages your bird species is assigned at random; on the $10 package you may select your species. The Service is a novelty product. Outputs are AI-generated, may contain imperfections, and the resemblance to you is not guaranteed. The bird imagery is AI-generated and does not depict a real bird you own or may visit.
Headshots with a Bird is an independent parody/comparison-based product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by HeadshotPro, InstaHeadshots, Dr. Headshot, or any other headshot service. Any third-party names are used only for identification and good-faith comparison.
You may only upload photos that you own or have permission to use, and that depict you or a person who has consented. You must not upload photos of any other person without their permission, photos of minors, or any unlawful, infringing, or offensive content. You are solely responsible for the content you upload.
You grant us a limited licence to process your uploaded photos solely to generate your headshots. If you submit a review and tick the consent box, you also grant us permission to publicly display that review and the associated headshot on our site and marketing. You can ask us to remove published content at any time.
The headshots we generate for you — and your Bird ID card and combined bird image — are yours to use for personal and commercial purposes (for example, on LinkedIn or a résumé). We retain ownership of the Service itself, our website, our bird roster, bird artwork and descriptions, and all related content.
The Service costs the price shown at checkout (currently US$1, US$3, or US$10 depending on the package), charged via Stripe. If we fail to deliver your headshots due to a technical error on our side, we will refund that payment in full or in proportion to the undelivered portion. Because the product is a digital good generated on demand, payments are otherwise non-refundable. Dissatisfaction with the artistic result — including the species, size, or demeanour of your bird — is not grounds for a refund.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by uploading others' images without consent, attempting to impersonate someone, using it for unlawful purposes, or interfering with its operation.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that outputs will be accurate, flattering, resemble you, or be fit for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SCHEME Studio and the Service from claims arising out of your uploaded content or your misuse of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
